| Middle market and small business lenders and private bankers often have extensive involvement in sourcing and evaluating commercial real estate credits. Participants will gain skills in identifying key issues and risks for owner occupied and small investor real estate opportunities. They will “live” through a real estate cycle, develop a working knowledge of real estate math, gain appreciation for the bank’s monitoring process and policies for construction lending including review of several “spilled milk” examples, gain appreciation for title, environmental and appraisal issues, and apply their knowledge and skills to a range of real estate credit cases with carefully selected issues.
